100 posts in one year-that’s not too bad, I suppose. I wish I could do more. With a teaching job, comes a great responsibility of marking. Weekends are pretty much marking/responding to emails and of course, sleeping for long hours to recharge my batteries.
After a week of crazy weather here in Sydney, there was sun yesterday-and I wanted smoothies. All I had were apples and almond milk. To me, smoothies are bananas. there was no frozen or fresh ones. I was so gutted-Decided to go with apples anyway. It tasted very bland-no creaminess or ‘Zing’ in there. Now, I went back to my refrigerator, shuffled through what I have-and by a sheer stroke of luck, saw my Strawberry chia jam. Where there is a jam, there is peanut butter. Added them all with the smoothie- back into my smoothie maker and this tops the list of my favourite smoothies 🙂
Here is the recipe,
