Hey all, am back to blogging 🙂 Missed you guys. I felt like taking a break from blogging and I did. Sorry for keeping you all hanging in there.
First post in this year, starting with an easy 10 minute banana butter recipe
Say you run out of jam/spread for a piece of toast and you could whisk a delicious spread made from mashed up bananas, chia meal and almond butter in under 10 minutes, why not give it a go?
You need:
- Raw almond butter/any nut butter-3 Tbsp
- Banana-1
- Lemon juice-1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon-1/2 tsp
- Vanilla-1 tsp
- Salt-a pinch
- Ground Chia-1 Tbsp
Method:
- Chuck everything in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
- You could keep them for a couple of days.
Fun Fact:
- Did you know that the fruits that go brown on exposure to air due to an enzyme called ‘polyphenol oxidase’?
Serve with GF Gum-free Sandwich bread
